A 4-year-old girl has been rescued

Karachi: Sindh Rangers and police, in a joint operation in the Orangi Town area of Colony, arrested a suspect involved in the kidnapping of innocent children during snatching incidents and rescued a 4-year-old girl.

According to details, on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Sindh Rangers and police, based on intelligence information, apprehended the suspect, Mohammad Umar, involved in the abduction of innocent children during snatching incidents in the Orangi Town area of Colony.

The spokesperson stated that the arrested suspect was trying to lure and take away 4-year-old innocent girl, Iqra, from Colony, but Rangers arrested him during a snap-checking operation and successfully rescued the girl. During initial investigation, the suspect admitted to kidnapping 4 innocent children from Colony and selling them to a person named Imran in Nazimabad No.7.

The rescued girl has been handed over to her guardians. The arrested suspect has been handed over to the police for further legal action.
