Important Meeting of Saudi Foreign Minister with Army Chief Accompanied by Delegation.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday along with a delegation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the Saudi Foreign Minister met with the Chief of Army Staff to discuss mutual interests and policies to further strengthen cooperation in various fields.

During the meeting, the Saudi Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of stable and strategic relations between the two countries and emphasized the need to explore new ways to further strengthen bilateral relations.

The Army Chief praised the importance of brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and appreciated the delegation’s visit. He reiterated full support and expressed good wishes for mutual beneficial outcomes of dialogue for both states.

It should be noted that after efforts to attract Saudi investments in Pakistan, a high-level delegation led by the Saudi Foreign Minister arrived in Pakistan on Monday. The delegation includes important ministers and senior officials from Saudi Arabia.

This visit comes after Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Riyadh in early last month, where he had extensive discussions with Saudi leadership.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has instructed his senior cabinet ministers to visit Islamabad immediately in order to explore potential investment opportunities. Pakistan is giving great importance to this visit.
