New York: Former President of America Donald Trump has been deemed guilty of falsifying business records and sentenced for his crimes. According to international news agencies, former President Donald Trump was found guilty of covering up payments to a pornographic film actress before the 2016 presidential elections, and was held accountable for 34 serious crimes related to fake business records. He is the first American President to be charged with a crime and sentenced.

Prosecutors called approximately 2 dozen witnesses to testify, and after the completion of evidence on Tuesday, the jury took 2 days to deliberate before reaching a decision. Prosecutors argued that Trump attempted to conceal his business records to enhance his chances, which ultimately led to his victory.

The judge set a date of July 11th at 10 am to sentence Donald Trump in the case. He also ordered both parties to file pre-trial motions by June 13th.

Former President Donald Trump was accused of having sexual relations with porn star Stormy Daniels and making payments to her to cover it up during the 2016 presidential election campaign, which ultimately led to his election victory.

Experts say that instead of probation or community service, Donald Trump will have to serve a prison sentence for up to four years for each of his crimes.

Outside the courtroom, Donald Trump spoke to journalists saying that the trial was a rigged, shameful trial and the real decision will come from the people on November 5th, and he knows what happened here. He further said that he is completely innocent and this case is a disgrace to him, but the matter is not over yet.

Reacting to the sentencing of the former American President, Republican Senate hopeful Lirri Hogan said that the decision of the jury should be respected, but former President’s close friend Senator Lindsey Graham expressed hope that the decision would be overturned on appeal.
