Vasantha Kumari prepares for her upcoming trip to Nagpur to reunite with her husband, Gokarakonda Naga Saibaba, who is being released from prison after a decade on suspicion of ties to Maoist rebels. Saibaba, a paralyzed English professor, was acquitted of all charges by the Bombay High Court, although the government in Maharashtra has challenged the ruling. Throughout his imprisonment, Saibaba faced health challenges and lack of proper medical care. His wife, Kumari, and their daughter have endured a difficult 10 years, struggling financially and emotionally. Now, as they await Saibaba’s release, they hope for a new chapter as a family.
