“When I understand that a reference should be filed against the judges of the Islamabad High Court, I will do it,” said Senator Faisal Vawda. “When I do it, I will do it, so why worry. You will also receive news. We will also receive it. Everything will not be resolved in one day. There has been one action, there will be another action, a fourth action, a fifth action, and actions will continue.”
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, he said, “Forgiveness can be sought from anyone, there is no sin, but it is also necessary to make a mistake to ask for forgiveness. If I have made a mistake, I will fold my hands in front of the person sitting opposite me and ask for forgiveness on camera. I have no issue with that. If I have not done anything wrong, I will explain. I have always been in favor of the Chief Justice’s honesty, and I respect his bench.”
“I have no confusion about appearing before them. Whatever decision they make, I will accept. The matter is under review in court, so you can understand how much I can speak. If I have to clarify the issue of Dawn Leaks and Babar Sattar, I will do so. The response to the letter was not received and after the response, there was confusion, I will provide an answer. I specifically spoke about the letter during the press conference, there is no issue with the judiciary. If I ask for a letter, I will mention your name, but if you say that I have discussed this with the entire media, then I did not. I want to see justice 140 to number one, they are trying to attach a reverse gear somehow.”
“Respecting the judiciary is essential. Whatever appears here and whatever the judiciary says will continue to happen. I did not object to dual citizenship. If it is legal, it can be maintained. There is no fault in it. The response you have given has affected me because it is in the record but the response is saying that there are no witnesses.”
Speaking about the organized campaign against the Chief Justice, he said, “They are running a direct campaign against the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court. They are trolls, they are popular, they are allowed to make appointments on May 9th. They are popular. They are allowed to accuse them on ISI. They mock the martyrs, bring out their funerals, they are popular, they can do it, they mention terrorism and can do it because they are popular. They are trolls, are there any trolls behind you? If there are no trolls behind me, then we are here, the one behind whom there are trolls is the king in this country.”
