Factory owner commits suicide due to loss in business

Karachi: The owner of a plastic factory in Clifton committed suicide by hanging himself due to losses in business. According to details, a person’s body was found hanging in a bungalow near Three Swords in Clifton Block 8, Clifton. The police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the body hanging. After examination, the body was transferred to Jinnah Hospital with the help of an ambulance, where the deceased was identified as 60-year-old Muhammad Arif, son of Muhammad Ismail.

In this regard, SHO Pir Shabbir stated that according to the initial statement of the deceased’s family, Arif, after suffering significant losses in his plastic factory, was distressed and committed suicide by hanging himself. At the time of his suicide, his family was present at home. After legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs, but further investigation is ongoing.
