Entire Decision to Close Visitor Gallery at Inaugural Session of National Assembly

Islamabad: The National Assembly Secretariat, taking important steps to ensure security conditions and prevent any possible disruptions, has revoked the gallery cards issued for guests at the inaugural session.
According to a statement, the visitor gallery passes have been revoked based on security reasons for guests who do not have permission to attend the inaugural session.
The directive issued by the Secretariat states that non-elected esteemed members should bring their issued cards with them, as entry will not be allowed without authorization.
It should be noted that the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the National Assembly will be held under the presidency of Speaker Asad Qaiser at 10 am today. The elected members will take their oath of office during the session.
