Do Modi’s economic policies truly benefit every Indian? | India’s 2024 Election

India, currently the world’s fifth-largest economy, is leading growth in South Asia, according to the World Bank. The country is seen as one of the fastest-growing emerging markets globally, with much of its success attributed to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past decade.
As Modi aims for a third term in office in the upcoming general elections, he is banking on the nation’s economic achievements to win over voters. While many Indians have reported feeling better off, observers note that the wealth gap in the country has widened.
