The Islamabad High Court has delayed the decision on the punishment in the contempt of court case against DC Islamabad and others. The appeal against the decision regarding contempt of court by the single bench of DC Islamabad and others was heard in the High Court. The lawyer explained that after the arrest of PTI founder, an MP order was issued for Shahriyar Afridi by DC Rawalpindi.
Justice Miyan Gul Hassan Aurangzeb said that the Islamabad High Court orders not to arrest, but still people are arrested, our orders are ignored, when contempt of court actions are taken, requests for forgiveness are made. The High Court has adjourned the hearing of the case by temporarily suspending the punishments of DC Islamabad and others. The Islamabad High Court said that the punishments will remain suspended until the next hearing.
