There is mounting pressure to hold Israel accountable for its ongoing war on Gaza. It has been over 90 days since Israel initiated its destructive campaign on Gaza, resulting in nearly 25,000 Palestinian deaths and countless injuries. Numerous countries have denounced Israel’s actions, with South Africa filing a genocide accusation against it at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, facing criminal complaints in Switzerland. Mexico and Chile have also brought Israel to the attention of the International Criminal Court (ICC). But the question remains: will any of these actions lead to meaningful change?
