Kirti Sanon started her Bollywood career with the film Heropanti in 2014, in which her co-star was Tiger Shroff. She said in an interview that during the initial stages of her career, she faced disappointment and restlessness due to the preferential treatment given to star kids in Bollywood. She mentioned that despite her talent, she was deprived of multiple roles in films because of nepotism in the industry. Sanon expressed her desire to showcase her abilities based on merit, but new opportunities were given more to those with connections in the film industry.
