In a deeply disturbing incident, the lifeless bodies of premature babies were found inside a wastebasket at a hospital in Karachi. This shocking discovery has left the community in shock and disbelief.
According to the authorities, the hospital staff stumbled upon the bodies while cleaning the restroom. The management of the hospital, located in North Nazimabad, revealed that two women had visited the facility, with one of them undergoing a pregnancy ultrasound.
Upon receiving the lab results confirming the presence of twins, both women entered the hospital washroom. They stayed there for several hours before leaving in a rush, leaving the tragic evidence behind, as reported by the hospital officials.
A case has been registered against the women at the Hyderi police station, and an investigation has been launched to apprehend them.
The CCTV footage captured a woman in a wheelchair sitting in a rickshaw accompanied by another female. The police are currently analyzing the footage to aid their investigation.
Separately, in a heartbreaking incident, the bodies of three newborn babies were discovered in a garbage heap in Karachi’s Saddar area. A passerby found the bodies near a hospital in the Taj Complex area of Saddar town, according to the police.
