A clash between two groups of students at Balochistan University has led to the temporary closure of the university. The incident resulted in injuries to seven students, who were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

In light of the situation, the administration of Balochistan University has issued a press statement announcing the closure of the university until further notice. All academic activities will be suspended for an indefinite period, and students have been advised to vacate the hostel premises immediately.

Additionally, a separate clash between two groups at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad has also resulted in police booking nearly 60 students.

It is crucial for universities to maintain a safe and peaceful environment for their students. Initiatives that promote tolerance, respect, and conflict resolution should be encouraged to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

We hope that both Balochistan University and Quaid-i-Azam University can address the underlying issues and take appropriate measures to ensure the well-being of their students and promote a harmonious campus atmosphere.
