The Australian cricket team has announced a strong Prime Minister’s XI for a warm-up match against Pakistan, featuring Test openers Cameron Bancroft, Marcus Harris, and Matt Renshaw as they vie to replace the retiring David Warner. The match will take place in Canberra next month, with six players with Test experience included in the squad. Chairman of selectors George Bailey expressed his pleasure at rewarding leading first-class performers with the opportunity to face quality international opposition. The PM’s XI also includes all-rounder Cameron Green, who is aiming to reclaim his Test spot.
