Reliable sources within the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have revealed that Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of the party, is expected to return to Pakistan on August 4th after completing a private visit to a foreign country. Zardari had initially departed from Karachi to Dubai on July 21st and later flew to Europe.

Once he returns to the country, Asif Ali Zardari will resume his political activities, further strengthening the PPP’s position in national politics.

Earlier today, it was reported that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had reached out to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss the formation of a caretaker government. The leaders have agreed to follow the constitutional and legal process in appointing the caretaker prime minister.

Both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari have decided to present all the proposed names for the caretaker prime minister to their coalition partners. They aim to seek their input and build consensus among the parties involved.

Moreover, the coalition parties are expected to hold consultations on the matter, and the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Raja Riaz, will also engage with opposition lawmakers to discuss the caretaker prime minister selection process.
