Jaranwala Riot: Ensuring Justice for All, Says CM Mohsin Naqvi

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has emphasized the need to bring all the culprits of the tragic Jaranwala riot to justice. Speaking at a solidarity function in Jaranwala, CM Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the importance of protecting the minority and expressed his solidarity with the Christian community.

Careatker Prime Minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, has made the protection of the minority a top priority, demonstrated by his first official visit to Jaranwala. The PM’s visit aims to show complete solidarity with the Christian community, and steps have been taken to alleviate the sufferings of those affected.

Efforts are underway to identify the remaining miscreants through geo-fencing, and stringent action will be taken against all those involved. The main culprits have already been apprehended, with additional measures being taken to bring the rest to justice.

In addition to addressing the legal aspect, the Punjab government is also committed to repairing the damaged churches and compensating the affected families. Two churches have already been renovated, and work on another one is in progress. Once the remaining churches are handed over to the government, they will be repaired and renovated as a top priority.

Each affected family will receive Rs. 2 million, and the compensation process has already begun. CM Mohsin Naqvi has assured the Christian community of his commitment to justice and has pledged regular visits to Jaranwala to address their concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
