Gaza: Israeli forces have carried out an airstrike on a United Nations-run school in Gaza, resulting in the death of more than forty Palestinians and 70 injured. Gaza’s official sources and health ministry have confirmed the casualties at the Nusseirat camp and the school. Sources also confirmed that among the deceased, there are 9 women and 14 children.
Hamas has condemned the Israeli attack and stated that Thursday’s attack once again claimed the lives of many women and children.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, thousands of displaced people were residing in the school at the time of the attack, including a large number of children and women.
According to Gaza’s official spokesperson, a large number of injured and deceased individuals have been transferred to Al-Quds Hospital. The spokesperson, while speaking with media outlets, mentioned that the Israeli aggression and violence prove that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
He further stated that the large number of injured individuals brought to the hospital makes it impossible to provide medical care to everyone at the same time, leading to some of the injured losing their lives.
