Islamabad: A secure decision regarding the inter-party case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will be announced on Thursday at 12 o’clock.
The Election Commission has issued a cause list, which will determine whether or not the PTI will maintain its status in the case. The decision will be announced on Thursday, November 23 at 12 noon.
The Election Commission had originally postponed the decision on the case related to the PTI’s intra-party elections on September 13, at the request of the PTI’s lawyer.
The Election Commission had issued a show cause notice to the PTI.
According to an Election Commission spokesperson, a four-member bench led by Member Nasir Durrani had heard the case related to the PTI’s intra-party elections.
The issue of the PTI’s intra-party elections is pending before the Election Commission since 2022, and the commission had ordered the PTI to hold intra-party elections. According to the Election Act, it is mandatory for all political parties to hold intra-party elections.
