Karachi: During a snap-checking in the Defense area of Quaid City, police officers stopped a car and two people, including a police officer, were injured in a collision with the car.
SHO Defense Shaukat Hyat reported that near the Qayoomabad S.I.R route, during snap-checking, officers signaled the suspicious car to stop, but the driver hit the officers and fled.
As a result of the car collision, the police officer and passerby were injured and were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.
SHO explained that the police arrested the driver, Farhan Nazir, responsible for the accident and seized the car. They further stated that the condition of the police officer, Bilal, and the civilian is critical, but the investigation is ongoing.
