Swat: In the Shangla area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf protested against apparent electoral fraud, while the PTI claimed the deaths of four workers.

PTI workers protested against apparent changes in the electoral results of constituency NA-11 in Swat’s Shangla Alpuri area. When the protesters tried to disperse, they threw stones at the police and set a government vehicle on fire. There were clashes and aerial firing between the police and PTI workers, resulting in several injuries.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf shared a video of the incident and claimed that the police fired and killed its four workers.

It should be noted that according to unofficial and non-governmental results, the PML-N candidate for National Assembly constituency NA-11, Amir Muqam, was successful with 59,863 votes, while independent candidate Syed Farid remained in second place with 54,311 votes.
