To complete the Pakistani culture and national identity, we need to realize that no aspect of our country, including individuals, language, customs and traditions, has any conflict or contradiction with each other. This is not just a narrow view and misconception of vested interests and motives. Rather, it is through the integration of all languages that we will form the true Pakistani culture that we envision, and as a result, we will create a nation that plays an important role in global culture and politics in the future”.

Says Maulana Abdulkhaliq Ali, the Director of the Pashto Academy in Peshawar. This statement was written in the preface of the famous book “Pashto in Urdu” by the honorable Imtiaz Ali Khan Arshi Hajji Khail, nearly six years before (On April 7, 1960). The statement was relevant then, and remains equally credible and valid now.

He expressed the truth that the existence of Pakistan is based on two things; firstly, Islam and secondly, a national language which the vast majority of the country speaks well, which can be understood and claimed by every region. This language is none other than Urdu. Therefore, the formula is: Islam, Urdu, Pakistan.

In the past, Mr. Khaksar also made a detailed study on the relationship and connection of various languages with Urdu, to the point that some nameless women and dialects have a commonality with Urdu. Yet, there are still many languages and dialects in this region that are connected to Urdu, and much can be written and researched in this regard. This list includes Pashto as well. In the last few years, the people are very interested in the subject of language and understanding Pashto, which is definitely praiseworthy and worth emulating. Research in general, is a tradition that revolves in many language and literature disciplines, and continues.

Here, people are called legends, prodigy or genius, whose poetry can become famous and popular in the world of youth, and then get writings published, and spend their entire life reading, traveling, and making money.

Praise be to Allah! One can say with full confidence that such nameless legends have not done any service to Urdu, except to add some poetry to their poetic treasures, so they have all spent countless others too have become legends, so all of them have become legends like Abdurrahman Hafiz Abbasi) Gujarati / Aurangabadi / Deccan and Zahir Zirraffz, my dear thoughts contemporary! (However, Khaksar has presented the entire research in one of the episodes of “Language Comprehension” where he has presented Wali as someone who did not understand the establishment and Orangi Abad, not correct for Dikni!)

“It is a fact that many words in the Pashto language are found in Urdu, which is why I am forced to understand the pure Pashto words that are found in a mix (that is, in Urdu). It can be of other languages such as Sanskrit, Arabic, and Farsi, but it has not been proved that we can find a clear trace of them in Sanskrit”. This quote is from Colonel Ray Worthing (Henry George) a language expert who compiled the Pashto dictionary “A dictionary of the Puk’hto, Pus’hto, or language of the Afghans” and accomplished a great undertaking.

This important dictionary was published in 1867 by Williams and Norgate under the supervision of London and after a long time, it was updated in May 2007 by the U.S. Department of Education and was also made available online. This dictionary also discusses the originality of the Pashto language and its relation to other regional languages and dialects. (The author of the first edition of the dictionary was Major) Faisal.).
Imtiaz Ali Arshi has also cited the quote of Squade Majur from the colonel’s quote, who has been transferred from the military to the publishing house, so the statement that Wali’s better poetry is included here too, didn’t seem understandable, so, in the light of the above statement, reference to the connection and interaction of languages was also made and further research is very much necessary.

The subject is in the form of the book. Mr. Khaksar cites the quotes of the author of the study, which is not correct due to the emergence of the movement and Delhi, Aurangabad’s water, my beloved thoughts!
