Karachi: The premiere of the historical drama series “Salahuddin Ayyubi,” produced through the collaboration of Turkey and Pakistan, was held in Karachi, where the first episode of the drama was shown.
The drama series is based on the life of the famous ruler and military commander Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, who conquered Jerusalem.
The producers of the drama series, Dr. Junaid Ali Shah and Dr. Kashif Ansari, said that this drama series has been made in Istanbul and is in the Turkish language, but it will be dubbed in three languages, Urdu, English, and Arabic, in the upcoming episodes. Pakistani actors will also appear in the next episodes of the drama series.
They mentioned that for the shooting of the drama, several acres of land were purchased in the Gaziosmanpasa area of Istanbul, where the cities of Jerusalem and Damascus were recreated.
