DI Khan: The district court of DI Khan has announced the verdict in the infamous blasphemy case, sentencing two women who murdered a teacher for blasphemy to death, and a juvenile to a term of imprisonment. According to Express News, the Additional Session Court II judge Mohammad Jamil in Dera Ismail Khan gave the verdict, imposing a fine of Rs. 2 million on the deserving women for the death penalty, and sentencing the juvenile to imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1 million.

Public Prosecutor Tansir Ali and Advocate Haji Shakil represented the plea for help, while Advocate Asad Aziz represented the accused in this important case. According to the prosecutor, the three women conspired to attack the 18-year-old female teacher at the school when she was entering the school to teach. Later, she was found severely injured at the gate, with her throat slashed. The three women, who are related to another school, include two sisters and a cousin, attempted to give the murder a religious tone.
