Pakistan has failed to stop terrorist activities on Afghan soil, says Khawaja Asif. In an interview with Voice of America, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif warned Afghanistan that if it behaves like an enemy, Pakistan can stop trade routes with India. He mentioned that Afghanistan has been unsuccessful in preventing anti-Pakistan terrorists on its land, so they can block trade routes with India. He emphasized the need to send a message that terrorism has increased along the border and if Afghanistan continues to act like an enemy, why should trade routes be provided? He also expressed that they do not want armed conflict with neighboring countries and that strength should be the last resort.
