Karachi: Pakistani showbiz industry’s renowned artist Nauman Zafar has stated that he will not play the role of a heroine’s father in any drama.
During a recent podcast, the actor said that nowadays drama stories are very repetitive and when a film is not successful, a drama is made out of it.
Nauman Zafar mentioned that he is often offered the role of a heroine’s father in dramas but he refuses to accept it.
He stated that the scripts of dramas are not good and unique, and until he finds a good script, he will not say yes to any role.
The actor emphasized that the hero of a drama is not the actor but the character, and due to the lack of entertainment channels, good drama writers are not coming forward in our country.
