An accident occurred in Khushab due to brake failure of a loaded truck, resulting in the death of 14 people and injuries to 12 others. According to Express News, the truck was travelling towards Noshera from Banu with passengers on board. The accident occurred on the Panj Pir Manawa Road due to brake failure, injuring 12 people as well.
District Officer Rescue Hafiz Abdul Rashid stated that the rescue team provided first aid to 8 severely injured individuals and transferred them to THQ Hospital Noshera, while 4 others with minor injuries were also given first aid on the spot.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the Khushab Sun Valley accident and directed the authorities to provide the injured with the best medical care possible.
