Islamabad: Senator Faisal Vawda has said that on May 9th, PTI had first raised the baton against itself, as evident from the tweet with the number 71, in which it is mentioned that they have hit themselves with the baton and the black sheep in gloves were strengthening both these things. The time has come for all of them to face the consequences, as this dangerous game has now begun and logical conclusions will be reached.
While speaking on Express News program Kal Tak, Senator Faisal Vawda stated that in his analysis, this party is also capable of backstabbing, as when MQM was banned in London, the reasons were the same. They have now done a foolish act by saying that ordinary people who used to like Imran Khan’s party are now beginning to say that we cannot be a part of this conspiracy to destroy the country. But now they have put on reverse gear, although that reverse gear is of no use. I do not believe that Imran Khan has access to a phone; I can understand that someone else is handling his account because even in normal life when he was out in public, someone else was always handling his account.
Faisal Vawda stated that under his guidance, whoever is walking on a tightrope has now gone beyond that point, and he is also contradicting this narrative. Challenges have emerged, tensions have risen, and if our national system wants to become blind and deaf, then that is its choice. If, in this situation, the establishment also does not play its role, then we will put it in the same line as the events of May 9th, because this is not politics; this is terrorism.
He said that the country is being conspired against, and the small pieces of PTI have started and will continue to break, people like Ammar Yousaf and others who are distancing themselves from this incident, they are being used by the government, they are not doing pure politics, all of this is just drama. Those who are manipulating in this drama are sitting comfortably while the common people will have to make a decision now. Imran Khan is a popular leader; there is no objection to that. He is more popular because of his performance and the reasons for his hatred. What we are seeing today may be different shapes, but that does not mean that we set the state on fire.
Senator Faisal Vawda said that this has become operational like a mafia. PTI is not acting alone in this, there are many black sheep from different parts of the country behind them. Now it is time to expose them, and they will be exposed soon. Those who have become the custodians of democracy, they all have their own interests, they are drowning in corruption, and the government is enjoying the rivalry between the institutions. If the PTI is struggling with the institutions, we hide our incompetence and enjoy our time.
He said that another party has said for the eighth time that if the culprits of May 9th are punished, Shaheed will speak twice, and then we will see what happens next. With respect to this matter, as soon as the case is in court, a notice should have been issued. Regardless, such people, like those who are as old as Khawar Maneka, I consider them disrespectful individuals who take advantage of their old wives to benefit millions of rupees and then disgrace their honor. These people operate a gang in our country.
He further said that if Imran Khan speaks live during the hearings, there is no objection to that. It is up to the court to decide whom to show and whom not to show. They used to say that they cannot show Nawaz Sharif and now they say they can show him.
PTI leader Naeem ul Haq said that a lawyer slapped Khawar Maneka, which he did not even realize, he was taken by the lawyers of PML-N and pushed back. Just like Ata Tarar brought the lawyers in the Shah Khana case, and on that day as well, they attacked and tried to disturb the environment inside the court, which was a planned scheme.
PTI leader said that we failed, Fatahullah Marwat is a lawyer who slapped, in the FIR it is mentioned that I beat him up and snatched away his gun, so you can see all these things in CCTV footage whether I did it or not.
PML-N leader Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan said that they had their own lawyers with Khawar Maneka, our lawyers were not there. If they used inappropriate language about Khawar Maneka, it was a family matter. PTI gathered its workers and turned this bad incident into a political issue and made a national issue out of it. It was a family matter which they blew out of proportion, I do not say that there should have been terrorism but we did not say there should be a parade, in my opinion, a parade of terrorism was not necessary. If they had cut off the violence, then that was fine.
