Gaza: The Israeli military carried out an airstrike on a residential building in the major city of Rafah in southern Gaza, killing 7 Palestinians.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Israel targeted a residential building belonging to the Shahin family, where people displaced from Abu Hamra and Abu Sultan were residing.
The report mentioned that the airstrike targeted a busy market street, causing extensive damage to buildings and vehicles. Al Jazeera’s correspondents reported that bodies of women, children, and elderly were scattered on the road.
One resident reported that his parents had come here from Khan Yunis, and he had brought them to his house for shelter. They had just arrived in Khan Yunis and now they were dead in his hands. How will I survive after this?
Speaking to the Israeli soldiers, they said to kill him too so he could join his loved ones. Another resident mentioned that they were on their way to the hospital with friends when suddenly there was a powerful explosion.
The wounded Palestinian stated that the Israeli forces had targeted the residential building with missiles where a large number of residents, including children, were living and who had come to the street to access food.
They said that the Israeli forces show no mercy, they do not spare young people, women, or children. They do not respect any laws or human rights.
A resident said that Israel has forgotten humanity and targets innocent displaced individuals, killing women and children every day.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, during the past 24 hours, the Israeli military has carried out 8 bloody operations targeting civilians in Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 92 Palestinians.
The ministry stated that the Israeli forces blocked ambulances and medical teams and prevented them from reaching the injured lying on the road.
It should be noted that since the start of the savage attacks by Israel after Hamas’s assaults on October 7, 2023, they have killed 29,600 Palestinians and injured over 70,000. Gaza Strip has been destroyed.
