Rawalpindi: The court has decided to keep the decision of marriage against the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi which will be announced at 1 pm today.
According to details, Senior Session Judge Qadratullah listened to the non-legal marriage case in Adiala Jail for 14 hours and decided to keep the decision after the completion of evidence.
The process of judgment on all four witnesses has been completed. PTI founder’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja provided evidence of witnesses, while Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Usman Riaz Gill provided evidence of witnesses.
Witnesses including Khawar Maneka, Aun Choudhry, the marriage witness Mufti Saeed, and employee Latif appeared in court.
Upon the court’s order, PTI founder and Bushra Bibi’s lawyers submitted a statement gathering 342, which included answers to 13, 13 questions. Written responses are mentioned by both accused by Salman Akram Raja.
After the court hearing the 342 statements, the complainant’s lawyer Raja Rizwan Abbasi presented the final evidence, while Salman Akram Raja, the lawyer of the accused, presented testimony clarification and evidence, and requested permission to present a witness.
Salman Akram Raja said, “The witness for Bushra Bibi is a member of her household, I will not disclose his name, but he should be allowed to bring to court.” The court rejected the request to present the witness in the testimony clarification.
The court decided to keep the decision after the completion of evidence, which will be announced tomorrow at noon in Adiala Jail.
During the hearing, the defense lawyer’s request for section 249-A and section 179 under the court’s jurisdiction was also rejected.
Bushra Bibi dissolved the divorce papers on November 14, 2017.
During the hearing, Bushra Bibi declared in her statement that she had dissolved the divorce papers on November 14, 2017 and stated that Khawar Maneka gave her verbal divorce on April 3, 2017, spent the period of her waiting from April to August 2017, and had moved to her mother’s house.
She said that on January 1, 2018, she had only one marriage with the founder of PTI.
Aun Chaudhry spoke to the media outside Adiyala
PTI leader and witness Aun Chaudhry said that our testimony is complete, I had no document with PTI, Mufti Saeed also admitted that they were not informed about the completion of the waiting period, they are the leaders of the party and make life decisions based on lies.
He said, “Our youth was misled by the PTI, this woman is wearing a religious garb and decisions were made about important matters of the country, the people who mislead our youth are a disgrace to see.”
He said, “I told the court the truth that this marriage took place during the waiting period, the one accusing of stealing is the real thief. The country’s Prime Minister and Bushra Bibi sold state assets, it is embarrassing for us that a previous Prime Minister has been proven to be a thief.”
He said, “Today we have to tell our generation not to go against the state, it is a painful stage for me that my leader came with a marriage based on lies, is this the kind of leader who breaks someone’s home and ruins the lives of children, those who destroy the institutions of Pakistan will be held accountable, not one, not two, but three people were informed that the waiting period was complete.”
