Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across the country with religious enthusiasm. Congregational prayers for Eid-ul-Fitr will be held at all major and minor cities, towns, and open spaces, including mosques and Eidgahs.

After the Eid prayers, special prayers for the country’s security, progress, and prosperity will be offered, following which people will greet each other with warm hugs and exchange Eid greetings.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, extreme security measures will be taken to prevent any untoward incidents.

Message from the Prime Minister:
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has extended Eid greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah, praying that Allah accepts the worship done during the blessed month of Ramadan. He emphasized that Eid-ul-Fitr is about compassion, brotherhood, generosity, peace, and happiness, urging everyone to come together by forgetting their grievances and helping their economically weaker brothers and sisters to double their joy.

He appealed to the entire nation to, considering the inflation and country’s economic conditions, include the less fortunate people around them in their happiness.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistani armed forces, saying that brave sons have sacrificed their lives for the country’s peace and security.

He also appealed to Muslims around the world to remember their oppressed Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their prayers.
