Islamabad: President Arif Alvi awarded armed forces officers and soldiers with military honors including Star of Valor, Tamgha-i-Basalat, Hilal Imtiaz, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
According to ISPR, a ceremony was held in the President House to confer military honors to officers and personnel, where the President awarded a Star of Valor and 135 Tamgha-i-Basalat. SSJ Sepoy Israr Mohammad was awarded the Star of Valor, and Brigadier Mushtaq Kamal Shaheed was awarded the Tamgha-i-Basalat.
Similarly, 23 Hilal Imtiaz, 109 Sitara-i-Imtiaz, and 137 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz were awarded to officers and soldiers. During the ceremony, 45 commendation certificates and 148 Chief of Army Staff commendation certificates were also presented.
Major General Saeed ur Rehman Sarwar, Major General Muhammad Asim Khan, and Major General Nadeem Yousaf were awarded the Hilal Imtiaz, while Major Muhammad Jawad Shaheed and Major Mian Abdullah Shah Shaheed were awarded the Tamgha-i-Basalat. Lieutenant Colonel Safdar Ali Khan was also awarded the Tamgha-i-Basalat during the ceremony.
