There was an incident of violent protests at the Islamabad International Airport where workers of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam targeted two citizens upon the arrival of Maulana Fazlur Rehman from his visit to Afghanistan. The injured young man, Ahmad Noor, was taken to the trauma center of the Civil Aviation Authority Hospital. The incident occurred when the workers of JUI-F were present in the lounge of the airport and started shouting slogans upon seeing their leader. The injured youth, Ahmad Noor, is a resident of Barmatown in Islamabad and had come to the airport to drop off his brother.
