The arrested suspects include Abdul Hamid, Shahzad Afzal, and Nauman Ali, who were making fake calls by pretending to be bank representatives. They were using the latest technology for these fraudulent calls and obtaining debit card details to misuse them.
The suspects were using the fraudulently obtained debit cards to purchase airline tickets, book hotels, pay entrance fees for local and international students, as well as for various buying and selling transactions.
Furthermore, they were deceiving customers by convincing them to purchase various products and had also set up fake websites.
