New Delhi: In India, a wife convinced her brother to beat up her husband because he had promised to give her sister-in-law a gold ring and a TV on her wedding. According to Indian media, the brother in law in the state of Uttar Pradesh beat up his sister-in-law with a stick so brutally that she was left in critical condition and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Doctors tried their best to save the victim but unfortunately, he could not survive. The deceased person was identified as 35-year-old Chandr Prakash Mishra. During the investigation, police took Chandr’s wife Chhabi into custody who revealed that Chandr had promised to give her sister-in-law Meenakshi a gold ring and a TV on her wedding.
According to Chhabi, she was quite unhappy with this and lodged a complaint with her brother, who then beat up his sister-in-law. Police have taken the brother-in-law and 5 other in-laws into custody.
