According to CBS News, the heavy snow and cold weather in the 9 states of America caused 19 deaths in Tennessee, 16 in Oregon, and 48 in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin, New York, and New Jersey. Most of the deaths occurred due to car accidents on slippery roads caused by snow, as well as falling trees and billboards. Power outages and traffic jams have also occurred. Hospitals in these states are overwhelmed with patients suffering from flu, cold, fever, and respiratory infections. Educational and business activities have come to a standstill. Citizens have been advised not to leave their homes unnecessarily. The world is facing extraordinary and unexpected changes in temperature, rainfall, floods, snowfall, heat, and cold due to environmental changes and seasonal variations, leading to an increase in deaths around the world every year.
