Beirut: Hamas has warned Israel that if hostilities continue in Gaza, there will be no ceasefire agreement of any kind. According to a report by the Reuters news agency, Hamas leader Osama Hamdan warned in his statement that if the Israeli army continues its operations in Rafah, there will be no ceasefire agreement.

Osama Hamdan made this statement at a press conference in Beirut, while at the same time a Hamas delegation had arrived in Cairo for ceasefire negotiations. They stated that they are verifying that the Israeli army has taken action in Rafah and if this action continues, it will not be a walk in the park for the Israeli army.

They said that the agreement proposed for a ceasefire in the court of Benjamin Netanyahu does not fully address the demands of our people and resistance fighters.

Osama Hamdan said Rafah crossing was a complete passage between Egypt and Palestine and will remain so.

On the other hand, Israeli forces took control of the Rafah border crossing between southern Gaza and Rafah on Tuesday and also cut off the only route that provides relief to the besieged Gaza Strip.
