In some parts of the country, internet services have been partially affected, leading to frustration among users over disruptions and slow internet speeds. The website Downdetector.com, which tracks internet service interruptions, has confirmed issues with internet services in various regions of the country, including Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Nayatel, and Transworld Home.
According to the tracking website, around 4 pm, users did not report any issues with Nayatel and Transworld Home services. However, PTCL users faced difficulties.
Users primarily faced disruptions in PTCL services in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. Transworld Home users also faced similar issues in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
Nayatel users mainly reported issues in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and nearby areas like Okara.
