I regret my actions and am grateful for the support of the cricket fraternity, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.

Adelaide: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has spoken out about the incident of alcohol consumption, which led to him being taken to the hospital. Last month, after participating in a charity golf event in Adelaide, he joined former teammate Ben Laughlin’s band performance at the hotel, where he drank so much alcohol in the band room that he lost consciousness, leading to an ambulance being called and him being taken to the hospital. He spent some time in the emergency room, and although he was not penalized by Cricket Australia, he was not selected for the One Day series against the West Indies. He did, however, achieve an unbeatable century in the second T20 match against the same team.
