Rashid A. Razvi, a renowned lawyer and former judge, has passed away in Karachi. According to reports, the former judge and renowned lawyer was born in Mumbai in 1947. His family migrated to Karachi, Pakistan after his birth.
Rashid A. Razvi was a former judge of the Sindh High Court. He was also the former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association and held various positions in the legal community. He was known for his commitment to legal services for the poor and marginalized in Pakistan.
His funeral prayers will be held on Sunday, February 4th at the Yaseerabad Mosque in Defence Phase 4, followed by burial at the Defence Phase 8 cemetery. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, former Chief Justice Mqbool Baqar, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab have expressed deep sorrow over Rashid A. Razvi’s passing.
Several political figures, including the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, have also expressed their condolences for the late Rashid A. Razvi. They acknowledged his significant contributions to the legal community and expressed their sympathy for his family.
