Two more people were injured in Lahore due to the flying of a metal wire from a kite, causing the Chief Minister to seek a report from the Inspector General of Punjab while on his way. According to Rescue 1122, 28-year-old Adnan and an unidentified motorcyclist were injured in Lahore when the kite’s wire hit their necks, requiring them to be transferred to the hospital for medical treatment. Doctors have declared both individuals to be out of danger. Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif took note of the incident of two people being injured in Lahore due to the flying of a kite and requested a report from the Inspector General of Punjab. Maryam Nawaz stated that despite strict regulations, she is concerned about incidents of kite-flying and injuries from the flying of kites. She promised to put an end to the bloody game of kite-flying. The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the enforcing agencies and play their role in ending kite-flying.
