Lahore: The mother of three children residing in the Raiwind neighborhood of Aminpura was injured by her husband who stabbed her for allegedly asking for money.
According to Express News, the woman was injured with a knife around her fingers, neck, and stomach, resulting in her being wounded. However, Raiwind City police station reached the scene upon receiving a call at the 15 emergency helpline and arrested the culprit.
The police transferred the injured woman to the relevant hospital for medical treatment, where after getting medical care, the police registered a case on the request of the affected woman.
SHO Raiwind Tamoor Abbas said that those who commit violence against women and children are not deserving of any leniency.
