World Cup: New Zealand wins toss against South Africa and chooses to field first

In the 32nd match of the ICC World Cup, New Zealand won the toss against South Africa and decided to field first.

In the match being played at the Pune Cricket Stadium, New Zealand’s captain, Tom Latham, won the toss and decided to field first. He said that they want to stay a few steps ahead of Australia in the match and will try to maintain their position with successful efforts.

On this occasion, South Africa’s captain, Temba Bavuma, said that they want to make the path to the semi-finals smoother by achieving success in the match.

South Africa replaced Tabraiz Shamsi with Keshav Maharaj, while New Zealand replaced Lockie Ferguson with Tim Southee in the playing XI.

South Africa’s squad consists of captain Temba Bavuma, Aidan Markram, Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Gerhardus Coetzee, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Lungi Ngidi.

New Zealand’s squad consists of captain Tom Latham, Devon Conway, Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry, Tim Southee, and Trent Boult.
