Former Indian middle-order batsman Mohammed Kaif did not see any spark of victory in the Pakistani team in the ICC World Cup 2023, as the Green Shirts’ pacers were too soft-mannered.

In a tweet on the social networking site Twitter, former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif wrote that Pakistani fast bowlers seemed too gentle in their demeanor. Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Shoaib Akhtar used to intimidate the opponents, staring and sometimes sledging them, but Babar, Haris, and Shaheen did not have that spark! They seemed too friendly.

It should be noted that the national team was knocked out of the ICC World Cup after 9 matches, with 5 losses and 4 victories, having to face defeats from India, South Africa, Australia, England, and Afghanistan in the mega event.

Pakistan remained in 5th position with 8 points in the tournament. It is clear that since 2011, the national team has not been able to qualify for the semi-finals of ICC World Cup matches.
