In the 40th match of the ICC World Cup, England won the toss against the Netherlands and decided to bat first.

In the match being played at the Pune Cricket Stadium, English captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bat first, wanting to secure direct qualification for the Champions Trophy by winning the next two matches.

Jos Buttler said that there have been two changes in the team, Liam Livingstone and Mark Wood have been included in the playing XI in place of Harry Brook and Chris Woakes.

On the occasion, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards said that the goal is to achieve success in the match and try to qualify for the next ICC event.

England Squad:
Captain Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Mark Wood, David Willey, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, and Adil Rashid.

Netherlands Squad:
Captain Scott Edwards, Max O’Dowd, Colin Ackermann, Bas de Leede, Saqib Zulfiqar, Seb Rijks, Bas de Leede, Roelof van der Merwe, Logan van Beek, Aryan Dutt, and Paul van Meekeren.
