Karachi: Pakistani actress Laiba Khan has once again faced criticism for receiving an award from famous tik toker Rabika Khan.
During an interview with Hasan Chaudhry on Express TV’s ‘The Talk Talk Show’, the host asked Laiba Khan about the feud between her and Rabika Khan, to which the actress said that the incident occurred in 2019, but she has no regrets about it.
Expressing concern over the failure to give awards to the deserving, Laiba Khan said that she was only raising her voice on the fact that if you are giving someone an award, there should be some talent in it.
She further said that in 2019, Rabika Khan was given the ‘Emerging Talent’ award. At that time, my dramas were also running on TV and my co-actresses of the same age were also working very hard, but none of them received an award.
Laiba Khan said that I do not say that TikTok is bad, but if a person only lip-syncs, then what is his ‘content’? My objection was that despite not having any talent, why was he honored with an award? When she does not create any content, acting, singing or any other kind of talent.
On the other hand, Rabika Khan’s fans say that Rabika is a singer with millions of followers on her YouTube and TikTok. Rabika creates quality content on all her platforms.
