The PSL shared viral videos on their social media platforms that depicted Kieron Pollard dominating the Lahore Qalandars bowlers with massive hits at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The first video captured him smashing a maximum off George Linde’s bowling.
In the second video, Kieron Pollard executed a boundary followed by two enormous sixes.
Pollard’s impressive performance contributed to Karachi Kings’ victory over Lahore Qalandars by two wickets.
The home team, batting first, scored 175-6 with opener Sahibzada Farhan hitting a half-century. Farhan scored a 45-ball 72 with four boundaries and as many sixes.
Pacers Hassan Ali and Mir Hamza, along with spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, claimed two wickets each.
In response, Karachi Kings successfully chased down the 176-run target thanks to Pollard’s exceptional fifty. His 58-run innings came off 33 balls, including a four and five sixes.
Veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik also played a crucial role with a 32-ball 39, which included three boundaries. This partnership of 95 runs on the fifth wicket was instrumental in their victory.
