Unknown assailants in Orange Town shoot and kill mosque’s muezzin

In the area of Bahar Colony in Orange Town, Karachi, an unknown perpetrator shot and killed the mosque’s muezzin.

According to the details, 35-year-old Maulana Raheem Allah was riding a motorcycle near a wedding hall when two perpetrators on a motorcycle shot and killed him.

The rescue team immediately took the body of the victim to Jinnah Hospital. According to the police, 2 empty shells of 9mm pistols were found at the scene, indicating a targeted killing incident. The police are investigating every aspect of the incident and attempting to obtain CCTV footage of the incident.

The brother of the victim told the media that Raheem Allah was the muezzin of the area’s mosque and was on his way to a program of reciting Naats after offering prayers at the mosque when he was killed.

He further stated that the victim was the father of a six-month-old son and had no affiliation with any political or religious group. He was a resident of Bahar Colony in Orange Town.
