In an ongoing reshuffle, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed top aide Serhiy Shefir, three advisers, and two presidential representatives. The reasons for the changes, part of a wide-reaching personnel shake-up over recent months, were not immediately provided.

Zelenskyy’s moves come as Russia launched new attacks overnight, including 12 drones and four missiles shot down by Ukraine’s air force. Russian forces also carried out numerous missile strikes, air raids, and rocket launcher attacks. Tragically, two people were killed and one wounded in Russian shelling in Donetsk province.

The Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant in the Kharkiv region was completely destroyed by Russian shelling, leaving 120,000 people without power. Russia has targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure in recent days, causing widespread damage in multiple regions. One civilian was killed in Friday’s barrage of drones and missiles in the Kherson region, while another died in Dnipropetrovsk from shell wounds.

The situation remains tense as the conflict escalates, with officials reporting further hits to infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region. The toll on civilians is mounting as the violence continues.
