In 2016, a friend brought better opportunities for Mohammad Wasim in the United Arab Emirates, Captain of the UAE team, revealing that two famous franchises of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) had contacted him to join their teams in the tournament.

According to a report by the cricket website Cricket Info, the Multan Sultans and Islamabad United had contacted Wasim to participate in the PSL, but due to team affiliations, they were unable to accept the offer.

Born in Multan, Pakistani descendant Mohammad Wasim started his cricket career and got the opportunity to play at the district level. Later, a friend brought better opportunities for him in the United Arab Emirates in 2016 and invited him to participate in the Ramadan cricket tournament.

Mohammad Wasim mentioned that he was selected by the selectors of the UAE team there and reached the national level. He expressed his desire to participate in big cricket leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL), PSL, and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in the future, but his primary focus is to represent his country at an international level.
