The Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan on Friday demanded evidence from Transparency International (TI) regarding its recent report declaring the judiciary as the second most corrupt institution in the province. During the hearing, the chief justice expressed that the organization should withdraw the report if they cannot provide proof to support the claim. The TI board member and counsel explained that the reports are based on public perception, but the chief justice insisted on evidence of any corruption. The hearing was adjourned until January 15.
